“The project aims to break a large block building into several component units. A massive textile factory is being converted into condo lofts. One single address changes into 192 individual addresses. Each unit is distinguished by a large number across its façade. The delicate typography for the large numbers contrasts with the rugged industrial surroundings. Inside, patterns forming text, unique to each floor, are all inspired by stitching, a reference to the garment district’s past.” Typeface: Didot.
