“We were tasked with developing the first youth marijuana prevention campaign in a state with legalized recreational marijuana. We discovered emerging research that showed how harmful marijuana is to kids’ developing brains. However, some people dispute these studies, but now that it’s legal in Colorado, it’s only a matter of time before we all find out who’s right. That was the premise of our Don’t Be a Lab Rat campaign, which featured human-sized rat cages placed throughout Denver. Within hours of the launch, the campaign was on every news station in the state. CBS This Morning, The Washington Post, the New York Times and more than 100 other media outlets also reported on the effort.”
