Glasgow, Scotland–based design agency D8 has worked closely with several brands to develop in-depth positioning over the years. In order to reflect this, D8 rebuilt its portfolio site to showcase its work along the lines of these brand narratives. “We wanted to show the range of work in a way that emphasizes the scale and scope of our folio,” says D8 team member David Shanks. “We have well-established relationships with the majority of clients and, in some cases, our work with them spans more than a decade.” Designed and developed by an in-house team, the site uses a flexible grid system that enables visitors to view the entirety of D8’s brand designs on any device. A clean, simple layout and color palette accentuate the firm’s work, and drive home D8’s straightforward approach.
