This traditional liqueur is made from the first ratafia recipes, written in the town of Santa Coloma de Farners by F. Rosquellas in 1842 and found in Catalonia by Confraria de la Ratafia. One of each of the numbers—1, 8, 4 and 2— is printed on the sides of the bottle."
